Hudson Valley: Where It Began and Where It Stays

K-Suds began as a hobby that turned into a passion for creating my own gentle soap formulas.  I began using natural products that you can feel good about using without all the excess! 

In a time when prices keep climbing and labels are crowded with mystery ingredients, I found myself constantly searching for products that could keep my skin clean and moisturized during the harsh winter months, then soft and subtle during the hot summer days where outdoor fun can put wear and tear on all body parts.   Each new shopping expedition accompanied a dreaded receipt in my hands, and a bigger dent in our budget, so I decided to formulate my own.

As I crafted each bar I began to realize the real value in my artful creations:  I had created soaps with detoxifying clays, moisture enhancing butters, and refreshing botanicals that care for your skin instead of stripping it.  I was so proud of my efforts I began to send them to all my family and friends.  And that began my interest in creating a simple, skin-loving, detoxifying and moisture bombing collection of soaps.  Each bar, and cut, is crafted by hand to bring a bit of comfort and everyday luxury to others who also need to break from routine.
